staying here was a great choice for my weekend getaway, as it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the bustling Gran Via and the beautiful El Retiro Park, making it so easy to enjoy the city while strolling through its landmarks and green spaces.

Had a good time at Hostal Ballesta! The bed was super comfy, and I loved the upgraded room with a balcony view. The only downside was the street noise at night, but honestly, location was perfect for exploring Madrid.

Just a stone's throw away, you'll find Hattori Hanzo and The Wild Pig serving up mouthwatering bites that’ll make your taste buds dance. Plus, the comfy room I got with a balcony was perfect for sipping wine after a long day of exploring.

Now, the street outside had its characters—plenty of sex workers stepping up to the plate, which could feel a bit sketchy after dark. That said, we stayed safe, and the location still let our trip shine bright!
